Each student will need to bring a fully charged iPad with charging cables and plug adaptors and with the latest version of the Procreate app installed. Find a comprehensive list of art and related utility apps on the iPad Art Tools page. The iPad Pro with Apple Pencil is recommended.

What about other mobile devices besides the iPad?
There is an ever growing list of excellent and powerful mobile art tools and devices. In my classes I teach practical lessons based on my own experience as a professional artist. You learn about the tools I use every day. In my case, the iPad is my main mobile art tool and that is why I am focusing on teaching with it.
Do I need any training or experience in drawing or painting?
No prior art experience is needed. The wonderful thing about making art on your iPad is that it is easily accessible to everyone! I teach with encouragement and enthusiasm. The class is fun with an emphasis on playing and exploring and taking risk on your digital canvas. All you need is an open mind and willingness to explore. Everyone can express themselves freely on the iPad and my class is aimed at empowering you in this with a solid understanding and mastery of the tools.
